Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Jamaica Events sells its own products — principally StreamPasses, which give you access to a specific event's live broadcast and/or its replay. We are the merchant of record for those sales. Some events are produced by third-party producers who broadcast through Jamaica Events; your purchase is still from Jamaica Events.

2. Your account

You may buy and watch as a guest via the link we send you, or with an account. Keep your watch link and any account credentials private — access is personal to you. You are responsible for activity under your account and for giving us an accurate email so we can deliver your pass and receipts.

3. What a StreamPass gives you

• Access to the specific event you bought — its live broadcast, its replay, or both, as described on the event page.
• Replay access, where offered, is available only during the replay window shown for that event.
• Access is personal and non-transferable. We may limit the number of simultaneous devices per pass.
• We may revoke access without refund if a pass is shared, resold, or used to break these terms.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown at checkout in the stated currency and are charged in full at purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe, and Jamaica Events never sees or stores your full card number. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you. We do not hold customer balances or stored value; every payment is for a specific purchase.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Sales are final once a StreamPass is issued or the stream has been accessed. Limited exceptions are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

When you use Jamaica Events you agree not to:

• record, download, rebroadcast, or publicly perform an event, or share your access with others;
• circumvent or attempt to circumvent access controls, paywalls, or device limits;
• post unlawful, harassing, or abusive messages in event chat; or
• use the service in any way that breaks the law or infringes someone's rights.

We may suspend or revoke access for conduct that violates these terms.

7. Content and intellectual property

Event content is owned by Jamaica Events or the producers who created it, and is licensed to you only for your own personal, non-commercial viewing. The Jamaica Events name, logo, and site are our property. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.

8. Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run the service — including Stripe (payments), Mux (video streaming), and email delivery. Their handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to deliver reliable live streams, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free streaming, and we are not responsible for problems caused by your device, browser, or internet connection.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jamaica Events is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the pass giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Jamaica Eventsafter a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
